インターナショナルウィーク　スタート

International Week Starts!

毎年恒例のインターナショナルウィーク開催に伴い、昨日、オックスフォード大学ペンブロークカレッジを始め、イギリス・アメリカ・ニュージーランドの大学から学生22名、先生10名が来日しました。

At last!That time of the year when our annual
International Week is held has finally arrived!
Yesterday, twenty-two visiting students and ten visiting
faculty from our 10 sister colleges and universities,
arrived in Japan!

テクノスカレッジでは、学生10名が成田空港でお出迎えし、留学生達を都内の宿泊先まで案内。

空港では、両替や携帯電話のレンタルの手続きをサポートし、普段学んでいる英会話の実力を発揮する良い機会となりました。（到着前は皆、緊張の面持ちでしたが、ホテルに到着する頃には、かなり打ち解けていました。）

なお、本日から長野県の本校研修施設みどりの村に出かけます。留学生達が"また日本に来たい"と思えるような旅になってほしいと思います。

About 10 of us (Technos students) met our guests, arriving
from New Zealand, the United States, and the United
Kingdom.
It was a great opportunity for us to use the English that
we are learning at college to help our guests to exchange
money and pick-up rental phones.
(We were a little nervous before their arrival, but by the
time we arrived at the hotel in Tokyo, we felt like old
friends!)
Today, we are leaving for our college lodge & hot springs,
Midori-no-mura (Green Village), in Nagano Prefecture. We
hope our guests will have such a wonderful experience that
they will want to come back to Japan
